The project investigates how femininity contains both the soft and the brutal, and how patriarchal norms shape expression and self understanding. Always situated and formed by cultural perceptions, the project creates a space for navigating the many facets of femininity. Through digitally knitted, woven, and printed textiles, desire, vulnerability, and boundaries unfold as subjective, sensory experiences.

THE COLOR PALETTE MOVES FROM DELICATE PINKS, POWDERY, YELLOWISH, AND GREENISH HUES TOWARD INTENSE AUBERGINE AND HOT PINK TONES, ALONGSIDE A DIRTY BEIGE. THE COLORS COEXIST IN TENSION AS STATES OF MIND AND EMOTION.
MATERIALS RANGE FROM SOFT SILK AND WOOL TO SHINY SATIN AND MELTED PLASTIC. CURLED AND STAINED SURFACES DISTURB BOUNDARIES OF WHAT IS PROPER AND RESPECTABLE.
THE CONSTRUCTION EXPLORES PROPORTIONALITY, VOLUME, AND THE WILL OF THE FORM. THE FORM TIGHTENS, GATHERS, AND UNFOLDS:
CONTROLLED IN SOME AREAS, EXPLICIT IN OTHERS.
